Dan Weiss has been in the Fats, Oils and Grease Industry since 2007. He began his career, boots on the ground in oleochemical plants, and sampling and testing in labs. Today he trades physical commodities with Third Coast, finding a home for even the most obscure co-products.

Nichole graduated from Kent State University in 2007 with a degree in Business Management. She has seven years of experience in the biodiesel industry from her time at Hero BX and has been with Third Coast since 2015. She loves to travel, read, stay involved in her church, and spend as much time as possible with her growing family.

Dave has been involved in trading since 1999 and brings a wealth of experience to Third Coast. From 2009 onward he has solely focused on the biodiesel industry. Dave has worked for multiple companies in the biodiesel industry including rendering, trading, and production companies. Dave graduated from NYU Stern and resides on the New Jersey shore. He loves traveling, running, and the Buffalo Bills.

With over 30 year of experience in the commodity business Roger has worked and owned small trading businesses as well as worked for a large rendering company. His last roll was working with a medium sized grease collector and processor in the Canadian market. He has dealt with feed, pet food, chemical as well as the bio and renewable diesel sectors over the years. The customer/supplier base has been small mom and pop operation to large multi national corporations.
Shelli comes to 3CC with a combined of almost 20 years’ experience in transportation and logistics with her most recent roll handling a wide range of responsibilities including customer service, purchasing and logistics for a manufacturing company. Shelli resides in the Cleveland Ohio area and enjoys days spent at home with her children and family.
Adam has 10+ years in the manufacturing accounting industry primarily working with the on-boarding of new acquisition companies and specializing in cost accounting. He has many hobbies that mostly rotate around the water; including skiing, swimming, sailing, kayaking, antique boats, and antique cars. He loves spending time on the water or tinkering with many projects in the garage whenever he can. Adam graduated from Ferris University in Big Rapids, MI, and plans to sit for the Certified Managerial Accountant exam in 2019.
Alysha started out her career in hospitality and customer service but needed a change due to the monotony of the same complaints every day. She decided to go in to trucking with the Kroger Company, moved to CR England, and eventually found her way to 3CC in 2016. She loves the FOG industry because it is ever-changing, fast-paced and different. Alysha lives in Rushville, IN with her mini-me daughter, Maleigha. She has an Associate degree in Accounting and Business Administration and is currently enrolled at Ball State, working on completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Mgmt. She loves to read and spend time outdoors when she has free-time. She coaches little league and volunteers everywhere she can.
Abbey graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Loyola University Chicago in 2018. During her senior year, she interned at Loyola's Searle Biodiesel Lab, and subsequently discovered her interest in the FOG industry. Abbey started at Third Coast Commodities right after graduation. When she's not at work, she loves to read, do yoga, and explore Chicago with her dog Chunk.
Kristen began her career in finance and money management after she graduated from Western Michigan University in 2008. She spent seven years analyzing the financial transactions of small businesses and implementing practices that optimized cash flow. As her fiscal skill set grew, Kristen expanded into large corporate treasury management; as her family grew, she found herself relocating to southwestern Michigan. In her new town, Kristen is thrilled to have found a role that allows her to build relationships and continue to personally connect with companies of all sizes in the industry. When she isn’t working with numbers and chatting with clients, Kristen spends her time running, playing on the beaches of Lake Michigan and traveling with family.
Clare started working in the Fats, Oils and Protein industry back in 1990. She has worked for trading companies, renderers and restaurant grease collection facilities. Clare has held many positions in various departments including customer service, finance, accounting and information systems.
Stephen is a recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago's Institute of Environmental Sustainability. As the office manager, he works on many projects involving environmental compliance, office operations, intern hiring, & more. Outside of the office, Stephen enjoys bike rides, dark beers, and drag shows.
Nicholas was Vice President at Informa Economics working with various clients-banks, food companies, agribusiness firms and hedge funds-to manage risk across a wide variety of commodity markets. He frequently presented at conferences, taught at seminars and worked on a variety of projects across the commodity space. Prior to joining Informa Economics, Nicholas managed risk for Bunge's oilseed and softseed processing business. He gained broad experience in trading grain and other commodity futures. He has gained experience in a number of global offices focusing on regional and global commodity flows. Nicholas graduated from the University of Chicago with a focus in Public Policy and Economics.
Kelly is the Office Manager for Third Coast, providing support services to the trading team as well as performing A/R & A/P functions. She spent 10 years at Marriott as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager where she honed her highly effective organizational skills. She left Marriott in 2009 when she reinvented herself by getting her Associates from MalcolmX as a Radiographer. She currently divides her time between Weiss Hospital in Chicago, IL as a Radiographer, farming her 70-acre organic farm in Buchanan, MI, and 3CC as Office Manager.

Anthony is a Certified Transportation Professional that has been involved in the transportation industry since 1990. Before joining Third Coast Commodities Mr. Pellegrino co-founded Greentree Logistics, Inc where he managed their Specialized Tanker Division & Brokerage before its sale in February 2018. Anthony has held positions in Fleet Management, Safety, Operations, Risk and Business Development in both large and small companies across the transportation industry. At 3CC, Anthony focuses on developing a transportation strategy & process to maintain world class service for their customers and suppliers. Anthony is an active member of the National Renderers Association, National Safety Council & National Private Truck Counsel, which he has served on its Advisory Board & Safety Committee.
In his free time, Anthony likes to cook and spend time with his wife and daughter.
Al has over 5 years of experience in the railroad industry. He started his railroad career with Norfolk Southern as a freight train conductor, working his way up to a trainmaster (operations manager). At Norfolk Southern Al was responsible for 271 miles of rail from Louisville to St. Louis. He has also worked as the operations manager for the Grand Elk railroad in Kalamazoo MI, where he was responsible for rail service to over 55 customers throughout southwestern Michigan and made interchanges with 5 railroads daily. He helped increase the company's profit margin 8% his first year. Al served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2009 and met his wife Justina shortly after getting out of the military. He and his wife have 4 children. In his spare time he coaches his kids sports teams and enjoys taking them to various sporting events.
Paul brings nearly 20 years of experience to the Fats, Oils and Grease business including sales, marketing, grease collection and trading. Most recently, he was the Senior UCO trader for one of the industries top commodity trading companies. While there, he helped manage a book that traded over a billion lbs of fat from 2008 to 2013. In August of 2013, he started Third Coast Commodities with the aim to bring a new perspective to an older business model. Paul resides in Michigan with his wife, whom he met while attending Georgia Southern University. He is an avid cyclist and voracious reader, who also enjoys good food and working on his farm.
